This post is my account of a Turkish bath, a public hammam is a tradition and custom that dates back centuries in the steamy bath, wash-up and massage. A hammam ritual is an ideal antidote to all those tensions that build up over the working day, banishing every kind of stress. Hammams, particularly in Morocco, evolved from their Roman roots to adapt to the needs of ritual purification. After our unique feather ritual, a light silk fabric is used to gently stretch the body with hot water in the Turkish hamam or Turkish bath, also know as hamam or hammam, is one of the ancient world's most widely exported customs.
